BWS October Bird Walk!

Overview

See species on the move as they pass through W. PA on their way to their southern wintering sites!

DISTANCE: We will be driving to several sites within 10 miles of BWS then getting out to walk a little and explore a lot.
BRING: Weather appropriate clothing, camera, binoculars, pen and paper (or your favorite app.)

Getting Here

FROM I-79 NORTH OR SOUTH:

Take Exit 105 Slippery Rock. At the exit, turn left (east) onto New Castle Rd. Drive approx. 1.5 miles and look for The Birdwatchers Store on your left.

FROM BUTLER, PA:

Take State Highway 8 North for 12.4 miles. Turn left onto PA-173 North/ Centerville Pike for 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Stoughton Road for 3.1 miles. Turn right onto PA-108 for .5 miles. Look for The Birdwatchers Store on your left.
