Did you know The Birdwatchers Store is also a nature sanctuary with a pond and 4.5 acres of bird-friendly habitat? Well, you do now! This means we get dozens of species at our backyard feeders. People love sitting in front of our bay windows and watching the ceaseless bird activity. You will, too!

Getting There:
FROM I-79 NORTH OR SOUTH:

Take Exit 105 Slippery Rock. At the exit, turn left (east) onto New Castle Rd. Drive approx. 1.5 miles and look for The Birdwatchers Store on your left.

FROM BUTLER, PA:

Take State Highway 8 North for 12.4 miles. Turn left onto PA-173 North/ Centerville Pike for 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Stoughton Road for 3.1 miles. Turn right onto PA-108 for .5 miles. Look for The Birdwatchers Store on your left.

Expect to see:

Spring/ Summer: Baltimore and orchard orioles, rose-breasted grosbeaks, brown thrashers, red-headed woodpecker, American goldfinches, purple and house finches and a lot more.

Fall/ Winter: Dark-eyed juncos, white-throated and white-crowned sparrows, northern cardinals, black-capped chickadees, tufted titmice, red-bellied, hairy and downy woodpeckers and more.
